EDIT:I now added more information about Andrew's family and his background. If there are any errors you manage to spot in my application, I would appreciate it if you pointed it out to me. I will fix any possible mistakes immediately. Thankfully, Reconnaissance seems to fit my character quite well. Overall, I'll estimate that it took me about/approximately a week to finish all this up. A lot of work, but most certainly worth it.

Name: Andrew Belrose (Drew)

Age: 18

Date of Birth: April 14, 1995

Gender: Male

Height: 5'5"/162.5 cm

Weight: 140 lb/63.5 kg

Ethnicity: French

Orientation: Seemingly straight

Weapon of Choice: Hand-made Hybrid weapon, a combination of a scythe, box cutter, nun-chuck, and a bamboo pole.
Handy on several occasions but difficult to use.

Personality: Andrew is a logical person who is independent, flexible, and maintains a nontraditional lifestyle. He is very honest and open with people, but he isn't blunt. Andrew is usually the one who approaches people first. While he may be understanding, he isn't empathetic. As a person who dislikes to be the leader, Andrew attempts to avoid the situation whenever it is possible because he dislikes the responsibility that is placed onto him. However, this part of him may be changed sometimes in the future...

Another thing: he is very patient and tries to be forgiving although he may hold grudges for a while. Unless you
persistently press on about the things that he is sensitive about, you will have not much problems with Andrew.
He tries to be pleasant and be kind to everyone he if he can, because Andrew really longs for friends.

Andrew is somewhat skilled in the medical field, as he knows most pressure points in the human body, also the anatomies of humans and various animals. Andrew is quite witty and resourceful; however, he soon looses his cool when something goes wrong or an unexpected surprise occurs. That being said, Andrew is easily frightened and surprised. While blood frightens him, Andrew isn't afraid of most insects or grotesque/morbid/hideous looking things. Since Andrew used to constantly study and review for various subjects in school, he was cooped up in his room and her physical strength and health gradually began to weaken. He is still not that athletic or strong.

History:

Background:
Originally, Andrew, Tommy, and his family lived in a small town in France. A place where it's not too rural or urban,
somewhere in the middle. Andrew's grandparents own a floral shop named The Bellflower that also sells exotic plants, herbs and herbal medicine. The back of the shop had a flower bed, a personal garden, and a greenhouse. Occasionally, the Belrose family would consume food that they have grown from their own backyard.

While Andrew's parents were busy working out of country, Andrew and Tommy had plenty of time to bond with their relatives
who also happened to live in the same town. Andrew soon got a 'green thumb' and began to love plants more and more. While
he is annoyed at insects who sometimes eat the plants, Andrew likes them because he thinks they're interestingly cool.

Meanwhile, Tommy began working and assisting his Uncle Fraser on managing his music shop. As Tommy continued to work for his
uncle, he gradually became interested in the instruments his uncle sold, especially guitars. Once Uncle Fraser was aware
of his nephew's love for guitars, he began to teach Tommy the basics of guitar, and soon the advanced things during their
free time. The people at the town were generally nice, friendly, and helpful to each other. Since the town isn't exactly
up-to-date with the recent things, the town seemed more peaceful, homely, and full of nostalgia. The Belrose family,
especially Andrew, loved the place. He seems to value his home the most.

However, the day after Andrew turned 14, his parents announced that they would be moving to the States due to financial
problems and other difficulties, especially the economical downfall that made living in France difficult. After all,
the United States are quite well-known for being "The Land of Opportunities". This stressed and made Andrew upset for a while, but eventually, he cooled down. However, Andrew occasionally looks at his scrapbook and wistfully daydream about his life in his old town.

Tommy learned how to play the piano when he moved to United States. While he was anxious and shy to his new environment,
he eventually warmed up to people and soon made several friends that kept him from experiencing any internal conflicts.
Basically a mental support.

Once the meteorite incident occurred, Andrew was wandering around the countryside and the city for several months.
As he was in a daze, completely lost and starving, he managed to pick up some news about the Forbidden Sector, about
the monsters that roam and creep there. When Andrew overheard a group of people gossiping about the Rangers, what they did,
and their personal opinions, Andrew soon realized what he had to do and realized his new motive and reason to live:
to protect his home and loved ones, even though the ones most close to him were dead.
-----
Recent History:

Andrew is a former high school honor student, and he was to attend a prestigious, respected college when the meteor incident occurred. On that day when Andrew finished packing up and was about to leave, a huge meteor fell from the sky. People who noticed the meteor couldn't do anything, and the only thing they could do was watch in horror as the meteor slowly descended. Of course, it soon crashed to the ground and caused commotion and chaos.

Unfortunately, Andrew's house was located near the range of the meteor's impact. Debris from other households and various
other objects were pelted everywhere. Andrew's family didn't make it, as they were crushed under the weight of the debris.
The only family member that survived other than Andrew was his younger sibling, Tommy. Tommy managed to avoid most of the
wrath of the meteor impact, but he was badly bruised and wounded by a snapped huge wood plank.

When Andrew discovered Tommy under the plank, he soon realized that it was too late for Tommy to be saved. After initiating a conversation with him for a while, Andrew promised Tommy that he would live on and fight for the sake of his family. Before Andrew could do anything, Tommy wordlessly gifted him an ordinary, plain boxcutter and told him that this is all that he can give Andrew for support, although it may seem ridiculous and silly. Wordlessly, Andrew immediately received the boxcutter. When Tommy had passed away after he uttered his last words, Andrew walked away from his destroyed house to wander around until he discovered the Street Rangers, but that part will come somewhere later on.

Surprisingly, Andrew took care of the boxcutter very well and miraculously, he was able to survive with just that on multiple situations, even though he had several close calls. However, one very vicious and brutal encounter with a core heavily impacted him, and Andrew was able to barely escape with sheer ounce of luck. Andrew then decided that he couldn't continue on like this or he'll either end up dead or worse, if that was possible that is. With that mindset focused in his brain, Andrew continued to push himself to travel to wherever he could. Andrew then discovered a pocket knife with various pocket tools, and a bamboo pole that nearly cost him his life, mainly because it was a pain for him to properly uproot a quite medium-sized one and that fact made him vulnerable.

Eventually, Andrew passed out at a countryside not far from the forbidden sector, on someone's field. The family at first did not exactly trust him, but became allies once they began to spend time with each other more and more. At the family's farm, the family took care of Andrew. Here, Andrew learned various life/survival skills as well as many others. Andrew soon gained some strength and muscle from helping out the family with their chores. In exchange, Andrew informed them about the news of the cores and what happened to his home. The family, mainly the father, decided to immediately leave as he was a man of action.
When the family asked Andrew to go with then as a family, Andrew decided to go separate ways with them. The family's father then went into the farm's shack and soon returned with a reaping scythe and gave it to Andrew as a parting gift since "there was no way that he could fend the monsters off with a mere stick and a puny knife", according to the farmer.

And so, Andrew continued to wander around, again. As he did so, Andrew managed to find a map of his region and calculated that he should reach the nearest city first before he could properly decide what to do with his life. As he did so, Andrew had many trials and errors with his weapons and possessions. He didn't want to give up the gifts and items he found and received, as it meant a lot to him. However, there seemed to not be many use for them, and most of the time, his items made Andrew's situation inconvenient. It also didn't help how his scythe wasn't that strong enough, either. While he was pondering this at a safe spot (a trunk of a tree), Andrew suddenly was inspired with a idea he thought was brilliant. It was to combine his possessions he had into an "ultimate" weapon, which would be much more helpful. Again, creating his new weapon required time, effort, planning, many trying, and more. Once Andrew did create the weapon he desired, he still had to teach himself how to properly use it. This was most likely the most difficult difficulty that Andrew had to face since he wasn't a natural with athletics.

When all things seemed to fail, Andrew encountered someone who was also happening to wandering around. Andrew and the unfamiliar person absolutely did not trust each other at all and the only thing that prevented them from doing anything to each other was the truce that they created between them. The person needed to learn what Andrew had learned during his wanderings while Andrew needed to know how to properly handle weapons. Due to this, both people saved themselves quite a lot of time. When both thought that it was time to move on, they then agreed that they would travel together until they reached the city. After all, travelling together is much safer.

Once they did reach the city, the place was in chaos. People were frantic and were doing desperate actions. Heated arguments were everywhere. People were saying non-sensual things such as how the end was nearing or adding their religious/superstitious beliefs onto things as well. False reports of news and exaggeration were everywhere, and no one truly knew what was right or wrong. Riots and mobs frequented the city. Andrew and the person decided that this city was too large and too chaotic and once again, they decided to keep their truce until the next city or town. This continued on several occasions until they reached the place they deemed was the most well-rounded compared to their previous experiences.

The city there had honest newspapers who delivered the needed information, and chaos didn't seem to thrive that much. Andrew was truly confused about this fact until he discovered a group of people who were receiving a new that just recently came out. Once Andrew received a copy of his paper, by reading, he realized that this was one of the places that were regulated by a group that called themselves The Rangers/ The Street Rangers. The newspaper had information extensively about them and where to meet them if anyone wanted to join them and their cause. With this great news, Andrew took this with him to the place he and the person had decided to meet in the city. While Andrew had the solid information, the person had leaked/interesting pieces of information she had found by eavesdropping. Both thoroughly discussed on whether they should join the Rangers or not. Eventually, they decided to, as it was the most promising option they both had at the time. By then, the person and Andrew have begun to trust each other a little more and became acquaintances.

As they tried to reach/contact the rangers, they were met with difficult situations that they were all able to eventually pull through. Finally, at last, they reached the place where they were looking for/recruiting Rangers. At there, they met various people and learned that they needed to meet and pass certain requirements and tests. Currently, they are under testing and filling out various applications, as well as interacting with several people they found to fancy as a friend. Whether they will or will not actually join the Rangers all depends on fate and luck.

Likes: Literature, books, sci-fi, botany, movies, mystery, old buildings, antique objects, soft breezes, green, dark colors, people, and architecture

Dislikes: Blood, gore, slimy things, uncomfortable/awkward situations, snails, anything with tentacles, destroyed objects, chess, bright colors, persuading people to do certain things, and ignorant and rude people

Additional Information:
-Andrew has scratches and cuts all over his legs, arms, hands, and ears, most of them were inflicted during the meteor disaster.
-Occasionally, Andrew watches movies; his favorite is The Hobbit.
-Andrew has a huge pet peeve of people who mock him with French stereotypes.
-Andrew is also quite skilled at decorating a pot with various plants, flowers, and decorations. He also knows how to construct a proper bouquet of flowers.
-He tries to help people when they need it and tries to give them advice on things, although he really isn't good at that stuff. At least he's trying. At least.
-Andrew has a childish, somewhat bad temper that he desperately tries to control, he fails on some occasions but Andrew is now starting to get better and better at restraining himself.
-His fascination for roses was mainly started due to his last name, Belrose. Behind his helmet is the family crest that he often proudly displays on himself. I also have a suspicion that he has a tattoo of a rose design somewhere branded on his back. While Andrew's hair is blue/dark blue, that is actually dyed. His original hair color is lemon blond.

About Drew:
-Andrew is a decent artist who has a moleskin journal that he received on his 13th birthday. It may be slightly
worn out, but it well loved and took care of.
-He also casually likes reading and literature. Occasionally, he would write some pieces of writing himself.
-Andrew has a scrapbook of various things, but most of them are about France and USA (ex: photos, souvenirs, etc)
-Andrew is quite protective of places, things, and people if he genuinely likes or trusts them.
-Also, he is quite sensitive, especially to his past. You know, mental trauma of your family all dying thanks to some freak
event. Andrew will start tearing up if people press on about his family.

More information about the mysterious Tommy:
-Name is Tomas, but prefers to be called, Tommy, also most people call him that as well.
-Hair color is similar to Lana's, also with some hints of gold hair from his father
-Fun-loving, a bit outgoing, also somewhat shy??? Basically a likable person who's a "dork".
-Tommy and Andrew are very close to each other and were brothers who looked out for each other.
-Tommy dislikes trains *cough*Tomas the train*cough* and is allergic to cats.

About Andrew's parents:
-Andrew and Tommy's mother and father are named Linette (Lana) and Janus (Jan), respectively.
-Lana has mousy brown hair while Jan has lemon blond hair.
-Lana loves the ocean while Janus has a fascination for biology. They tend to travel around the world quite a lot due to business matters.
-While they may not have much time to interact with their kids, they are very supportive and loving to them.

Aah, it's finally finished after hours of non-stop working ;U; Andrew's helmet was based off the Rose-ringed Parakeet, which is a fantastic and an adorable bird. Andrew was originally supposed to be a girl named Lana, but I changed my mind at the last moment when I decided that he looked more masculine rather than feminine.

Would it be more tragic if I said that Tommy is only 16, and he was supposed to go to his friend's birthday party that week? Oh, he bought her a present, which was a cute stuffed animal that got torn to shreds thanks to the collapsed house.
